বাংলাদেশের ভুতুড়ে স্থানসমূহ

কাজ শেষে বাড়ি ফিরতে দেরি হয়ে গেল। এলাকার এদিকটা সুনসান। দুই-একটা কুকুর ব্যতীত অন্য কোনো জন-প্রাণীর দেখা নেই। হঠাৎ ফাঁক হয়ে গেল মাটি, পা জড়িয়ে টেনে নিয়ে গেল সেখান থেকে ওঠা একটা কিছু! কণ্ঠনালীতে চেপে বসলো আঁধারে এগিয়ে আসা একটা হাত! শেষ অস্ফুট আর্তচিৎকারটি শুনতে পায়নি কেউ!
কমবেশি অনেক ভৌতিক গল্প বা সিনেমায় এমন ঘটনার অবতারণা দেখা যায়। এইসব কাহিনীর কোনোটি নিছক বানানো গল্প, আবার কোনো কোনোটি সত্য ঘটনা অবলম্বনে তৈরি বলে দাবি অনেকের। এসবের পাশাপাশি দুনিয়াতে অভাব নেই ভূতুড়ে প্রভাবযুক্ত জায়গারও। বাংলাদেশেও কিছু কিছু স্থান নিয়ে প্রচলিত আছে গা ছমছম করা কাহিনীর। বাংলাদেশের এমনি কিছু ভুতুড়ে স্থান ও ঘটনা নিয়েই আজকের লেখা।
(১) চলনবিল:
ভৌতিক স্থানের বিচারে শোনা যায় চলনবিলের কথা। বাংলাদেশের উত্তর-পশ্চিমে অবস্থিত সবচেয়ে বড় বিল চলনবিল; নাটোর, সিরাজগঞ্জ ও পাবনা এই তিন জেলা জুড়ে যার বিস্তৃতি। আমাদের এই ভূতুড়ে কাহিনীর মূলবিন্দু আপাতত সিরাজগঞ্জ। আরো ভেঙ্গে বললে তাড়াস উপজেলা। শোনা যায়, চলনবিলের এই এলাকায় অনেক আগে একজন জমিদারের বাস ছিল। এই জমিদার অতিপ্রাকৃত ক্ষমতার অধিকারী ছিলেন। একদিন রাতে হঠাৎ করে জমিদার মারা গেলে সেই রাতের ভেতরেই সেখানে রাতারাতি তিনটি মন্দির গড়ে ওঠে বলে শোনা যায়, যার একটি আবার পরদিনই নিজ থেকে ভেঙ্গে পড়ে।
এই তিনটি মন্দির ও মধ্যবর্তী বিলের এলাকা ভূতুড়ে বলে প্রচলিত। এছাড়াও চলনবিলে জ্বীনের প্রভাব আছে বলেও বিশ্বাস প্রচলিত আছে। বিশেষ করে রাতের বেলা চলনবিল পাড়ি দিতে গিয়ে অনেকেই জ্বীনের আছরের শিকার হয়েছেন বলে শোনা যায়। এমনকি অনেক পথিকও অশরীরির উপস্থিতি আঁচ করতে পেরেছেন বলে জনশ্রুতি আছে।

More or less, such incidents can be seen in many horror stories or movies. Some of these stories are simply made-up stories, while many claim that some are based on true events. Along with these, there is no shortage of places with haunted effects in the world. Some places in Bangladesh are also known for their creepy stories. Today's article is about some such haunted places and incidents in Bangladesh.

Chalanbil

In terms of ghostly places, Chalanbil is the biggest lake located in the northwest of Bangladesh; It is spread across three districts: Natore, Sirajganj and Pabna. The main point of our ghost story is currently Sirajganj. To put it more broadly, it is Taras Upazila. It is said that a landlord lived in this area of Chalanbil long ago. This landlord had supernatural powers. It is said that when the landlord died suddenly one night, three temples were built there overnight, one of which collapsed on its own the next day.

These three temples and the area of the beel in between are said to be haunted. It is also believed that Chalanbil is under the influence of jinn. It is said that many people have fallen victim to the jinn's influence while crossing Chalanbil, especially at night. It is said that many passers-by have even been able to sense the presence of the undead.
